The SWINGUEZ Gypsy jazz band was created by Matt Guez in France 2015. Previously in the UK Matt had been guitarist and manager of Ultraswing, a considerably successful band playing continental swing jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and jazz “manouche”. Now based in the Charente, they travel extensively throughout France and SWINGUEZ have gone from strength to strength appearing at many types of events.

The Swinguez band was formed through a shared passion about the music of Django Reinhardt and the genre which is Gypsy jazz, or‟ jazz Manouche”, made up of French and English they are all now part of this busy professional band.
