Welcome to Chateau Camp del Saltre, the perfect wedding venue for a relaxed and perfectly organized dream wedding surrounded by the beautiful ‘Vin de Cahors, vineyards.

Location

The Lot, also called the French Toscany, is absolutely the most romantic place in France. After every turn of the meandering river Lot you’ll find the most beautiful views, pittoresque villages and very friendly people. The Lot is where you find the real French way of life.

Chateau

The chateau can accomodate up to 60 persons, which we can expand to 80 persons with some rooms in the nearby bed and breakfasts. There is a lovely swimming pool, a petanque of course and a huge garden where you can relaxe and have some privacy if you’d like. For children (and adults ;)) we provide a table tennis, football and many other games.

The venue is situated about 2 kilometers from the village Prayssac, where you find the best local market of the region. Imagine walking thru the small romantic streets with your guests buying local fresh products on the Friday of your wedding weekend.

Everything included

Because almost everything is organized and supplied by ourselves, you don’t have to worry about multiple suppliers. We speak English, French and Dutch and we really know our suppliers. We own a lot of decoration and all equipment, so you don’t have to hire from a third party for high prices.

Our guests often tell us afterwards that the they really liked the fact that almost everything is possible. Tell us where you dream of and we will try to realize it even better.

Hire

If you already found a venue and you are still interested in our services and equipment don’t hesitate to take contact. We hire out everything like a big stretch tent, tables and chairs, lights and decoration but also provide our services like wedding planning, catering (barbecue and real Napoletan pizza) and DJ.

Some examples

A wedding at Camp del Saltre is usually during three days/nights. The couple (and parents and master of ceremonies) arrive a day earlier than the guests to give the last wishes on the details. The day after, the first day of the wedding, the guests arrive where the couple is already waiting with champagne. While everyone is still wet from the pool and amazed by the beautiful venue we finish the day with a fresh barbecue until midnight (or later ;)).

We start the second day with an excellent French breakfast followed by a visit to the local market. The rest of the day you can relaxe at the pool, visit a village or we can organize a canoe trip on the river Lot. When the evening falls we visit the neighbour wine house for a tasting, followed by a relaxed dinner at the chateau where we provide you our real healthy Napoletan pizza’s freshly made in our woodfired oven.

The last day is the real wedding day with a ceremony under the beautifull trees in the garden next to the vineyard, the best French dinner you’ve ever had and a huge party until late at night. We can also describe this thay in detail, but it’s your very day with your own special ideas. So please let us know what you want!
